MINUTES OF PACKARDS OF OREGON, INC., MEMBERSHIP
MEETING
June 10,
2014
The meeting
was called to order at 7:00 p.m., at the
Peppermill Restaurant, Aloha, OR
Present:

Stan and
Beverly hosted the Packard Spring Tour & Brunch,
which was well attended.
The
Hayhurst Elementary School annual party/car show
was attended by 9 cars and there was a fair
amount of interest from the parents and
children. The main focus was on the games.
Howard
reported there was $5,429.68 in the Club’s
Treasury, including a refund of $603.00 for the
liability premiums from Zurich Insurance. A
Certificate acknowledging membership in
PAC is on the way.
Karla is
working on the Clippers and would like articles
to include in the next issue.
Reminder: The tour to Chehalis is on
Saturday, 6/14/14, for the 9 th
Annual Fletcher Anderson
Pacific Northwest Model A Picnic.
Reminder: Forest
Grove Concours on July 20, 2014, applications
are due for cars and judging.
Reminder: The
Columbia River Concours is August 3, 2014.
Reminder: Lake
Oswego Show is August 17, 2014.
Bob Douglas provided a
list of Wednesday events in July and August
featuring visits to various
assisted living homes:
6/25/14 - Hillsboro Cruises, Century Blvd, Rose
Garden TV Hwy 10:00-Noon
Lunch at Matt’s afterward.
7/9/14 - Regency Park
7/30/14 - Robison Home with BBQ lunch
8/13/14 - Courtyard Village 10:00-Noon (June
Fezler’s home) BBQ inside
There was general
discussion of car restorations, aging of
gasoline and quality of octane, and Matt passed
out a picture of a 1955 Packard 400, 2 door for
sale in Elmira, Oregon. Call Matt if
interested.
